I’ve spent over a  year searching for venues, outlets, markets or fairs suitable for promoting and selling my vintage and handmade pieces  and my painted furniture here in France.

And I have a like- minded blog-buddy, who was also struggling to find the right outlet!

We decided that the best way forward was to open our own shop here in the Aude.

So, our new shop “La Vie Vintage” was born as a creative collaboration between two friends-

Me, Gill Bladen- Fielding-

I’m an Artist with a passion for paint and textiles and old stuff with a story.

My mission in life is to rescue ALL abandoned and unloved treasures, one piece at  time.

Bev Lambert-

A lifelong Crafter and an exceptional needlewoman.

Equally passionate about French furniture, fabrics and vintage stuff.

Motto “Sew much fabric, so little time!”

Together we bring you our unique boutique maison “La Vie Vintage”; where you can find our carefully curated old French treasures, rescued and refinished furniture, vintage decor and handmade homewares.

We are the first stockist in France to carry Vintage Rocks’ unique chalky low VOC paints and their versatile and adventurous embellishing and finishing products

We also sell both new and vintage fabrics and trimmings, lace, buttons, threads and a selection of unique and affordable gifts with a vintage vibe.

Many of the home textiles we create here are made using old French fabrics and trims sourced in the beautiful region of Occitanie, the deep South of France.
